Happy first day of Spring!
While it's still snowy outside my window, I'm going to let Spring reign inside my heart. I can't wait for the temperatures to heat up here in Wisconsin so I can pull out some Spring clothes!
Well, I did pull out a few fun stamps...
I needed a Birthday card for my dear Brother and I pulled out an old classic ~ Classic Pickup's! This stamp set is so great for my "Man" cards. You can't go wrong with an old truck.
Here's a look at the full stamp set ~
I decided to keep this card simple (hard for me to do!) and just roughed up the edges a bit and added a quick ribbon. I didn't want too much embellishment ~ since I wanted a "Manly" look!
I went with a simple design – just a base, designer paper and banner. I stamped on the banner, put it together and added a ribbon.I took me under 5 minutes.
I had the supplies on hand, but a card like this costs me pennies to make. Making your own cards is so much more personal ~ and cost effective. The Classic Pickup’s stamp set is retired and no longer available. Here’s a great substitute ~ Countryside
Check this out. I've pinned a few samples made with Countryside to my Pinterest ~ Stampin' Up! board.
