This Sunday is Mother’s Day! Are you ready?
I ordered these and they came pretty fast. I know they sell similar piece at the local craft stores, but I liked the ease of ordering a kit.
Once it arrived, I assembled my supplies.
I took the little glass piece and measured it (7/8″x7/8″). Then I went to my computer and picked out a few favorite pictures, re-sized them and printed on plain copy paper.
Then I cut the pictures down to size them up in the tray and trimmed as needed.
I put a small dot of glue onto the tray and swished it around with my finger. (Yes, “Swished” is a technical term ~ try to keep up!) Keep a damp rag handy to wipe the glue off your fingers.
Then I laid the picture down in the tray.
Next I added another small dot of glue and swished it around with my finger. Be careful not to use too much glue or you will get air bubbles under the glass.
Then I laid the glass piece on top and pressed ~ very gently.
Finally, string it onto the necklace
This project took all of about 10 minutes. See ~ Quick and Easy!
These would make great gifts for Mom or Grandma ~ or even a teacher!
